Terms & Conditions

1. General
1.1 These terms and conditions are applicable to all agreements you conclude with Spiegel, owned by Typical NL B.V., hereinafter referred to as Typical NL.
1.2 By placing an order you accept the general terms and conditions.
1.3 Typical NL is entitled to refuse an order, stating the grounds for doing so, or to attach special conditions to the delivery.

1.4 The agreement is concluded the moment Typical NL confirms your order by e-mail.

2.1 The Typical NL webshop is part of Typical NL BV, a registered trademark and listed as such in the trade register under number 64619737. VAT number: 855746713B01

2.3 Spiegel is open daily (not on Tuesdays during the low season) from 11.00 until 18.30. You can find us at Nieuwe Spiegelstraat 2a HS, in Amsterdam. 
2.4 You can send an email at any time to info@spiegelamsterdam.com. We will contact you as soon as possible.

3. Prices and costs
3.1 The prices in the webshop include 21% VAT.
3.2 Prices listed in the webshop exclude shipping costs.
3.3 We ship worldwide. Transport costs will be calculated based on your delivery address and the weight of your purchases. Duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the customer to pay. We cannot split an order to separate shipping addresses.
3.4 All prices are under reserve of misprints and printer’s errors. Typical NL  will not take any responsibility for the consequences.

4. Product Information
4.1 Most products are hand-made and may vary slightly in size or color.
4.2 The products of the brands we sell are produced in different countries. Expertise and working conditions are of great importance to us. The brands we work with have ensured us that the workers involved in production of their products are treated properly and are not discriminated in any way. 
4.3 We do our utmost to ensure that our products comply with our own high standards as well as the European and international legal standards. All toys are CE tested for Europe and outside Europe (Japan and USA). Please find specification per product in the webshop.

5. Delivery
5.1 Typical NL takes the greatest care when receiving orders and shipping the ordered articles.  
5.2 Articles will be shipped within 5 working days after payment has been received.
5.3 If articles for some reason cannot be delivered at all or in time you will be notified accordingly no later than 7 days after you place your order.
5.4 The delivery will be send without a packing slip and without an invoice. The invoice will always be send separately by e-mail.
5.5 After the parcel has been presented to Post NL we will send you the tracking number which allows you to trace the parcel.
5.6 As we have no influence over the shipping process we do not take responsibility for delays caused by shipping. Delays in delivery do not constitute grounds for termination of the agreement. Typical NL is not liable for any damage caused by exceeded delivery periods.
5.7 Incorrect delivery addresses or delivery addresses lacking information are the responsibility of the buyer and may result in additional costs.

6. Right of withdrawal
6.1 A reflection period of 14 days is applicable to your purchases. You have a right of withdrawal during this period. If you decide to return the articles, you will have to contact Typical NL by e-mail (info@spiegelamsterdam.com). The products must be returned unused, undamaged and in the original packaging accompanied by the order number. We can only accept the return when the sender of the returned items can be identified and when conditions as described above are complied with. After given approval, we will transfer the amount to be reimbursed (minus shipping costs) to your bank account within 14 days. The shipping costs incurred for returning these articles will be borne by you.
6.2 If you receive an incorrect article, an article containing hidden faults or an incorrectly delivered order, please contact Typical NL by e-mail within seven days after the purchase (info@spiegelamsterdam.com) and if necessary include a picture of the product. After given approval, we will ask you to return the article in an unused state, undamaged and in the original packing accompanied by the order number. Typical NL will replace the article and send it to you without any additional charges. In this case Typical NL  will also reimburse the return costs.
6.3 Typical NL  always tries to resolve problems or complaints in consultation with the customer and in the best possible manner.

7. Transport guarantee
7.1 If you notice that the packaging of your parcel is damaged before opening it, please contact Typical NL  immediately. If you have already opened the package at the moment you notice damage, please contact Typical NL  within 7 days. If you contact Typical NL  by e-mail (info@spiegelamsterdam.com) please add a photograph showing the damage.
7.2 Typical NL  always tries to find a solution to replace unused or damaged articles. If you contact Typical NL  after 7 days, the damaged articles can not be replaced.

8. Privacy
8.1 By placing an order you permit Typical NL  to use your personal data. Your personal data will be registered in the customer file of Typical NL. This implies that in addition to carrying out the agreement, your e-mail address can be used for realizing marketing objectives and maintaining a customer relationship with you.
8.2 The personal data provided by you will not be shared with a third party for commercial purposes.

9. Payment
9.1 In the webshop you can pay by means of the iDEAL payment system (Netherlands only), Paypal, Visa/Mastercard, Bancontact/Mr. Cash (Belgium only) and Sofort Banking. For payments with Bancontact/Mr. Cash and Sofort banking we will charge €2,50.
9.2 All transactions that occur via the webshop are encoded for your safety.

10. Liability
10.1 Typical NL does not accept any liability in relation to you for any damage, other than the damage that is covered by its liability insurance and insofar as the insurance company effects payment in such cases.
10.2 Outside of the aforementioned cases, Typical NL  liability is always limited to no more than the amount of the purchase price of the relevant articles.

11. Force majeure
11.1 The obligations of Typical will be suspended in a situation involving force majeure. Situations that involve force majeure are strikes, illness among personnel, disruptions in transport and import/export bans, irrespective whether this occurs at Typical NL  or the suppliers of Typical NL.
11.2 If the period of force majeure is longer than two months, both you and Typical NL are entitled to annul the agreement without any obligation to pay compensation.
